Tue - Oct. 9, 1917 Fatigue today. Cut wood and clean up Bks. in morning. Went on a hike in afternoon around Dupont Pwd. works up and down hills stopped and took several pictures and pick and eat huckle berries covered 13 miles in 3 hrs. & 15 min. |
Wed - Oct. 10, 1917 Drill all morning and in the after noon we had signal drill. got a camera today. got about one hour extra off today. Wrote to Berniece go to bed. |
